ELIXR Simulations is a non-profit organization dedicated to accelerating the adoption and production of virtual and augmented reality technologies in Alberta. Once they operationalized, they needed a website that properly reflected their new brand and services to gain more attention from their target audiences.

ELIXR brought Paper Crane on board to help them create a website that invited visitors to explore the possibilities of XR technology and how ELIXR can help.

With a limited budget, Paper Crane went above and beyond to create a website that suited their vision while also respecting their budget, setting them up for success as they built their organization.

## The Solution

Paper Crane leapt into action to deliver a website that truly captured ELIXR’s exciting work, designing a flow and visual expression of ELIXR that not only showcased their extensive offerings, but also sparked the curiosity of each person who visited the site. It was important for ELIXR to have a bright and welcoming site, so we helped them to choose a template that encompassed their vision while incorporating elements of their brand. Next, Paper Crane customized elements of the website to match their unique needs, including a 3D graphic on the home page.

## Results

The results were an exciting and technology focused site with powerful graphics, images and animation to help ELIXR showcase its value in the XR community while inspiring those interested to get more involved.

## Key Takeaways

When it comes to emerging technologies, there is no one size fits all. With ELIXR we found a nice balance between a templated website and a customized build to deliver something unique and welcoming.
