Scope of Work
  1. Homepage top, would like the short video of me with clients that is currently after H1 and surrounding text moved up to the top and then text on the video instead of current setup where we have just text on its own and then the short video. Thinking more like Nicola Wealth video with white text: https://nicolawealth.com/
  2. Popup, I know we discussed this before but the timing drives me crazy. Can you please adjust the timing so takes twice as long as currently set to popup and let me know how I adjust timing in the future if I want longer? I want this popping up after people have read through most of the page not at the beginning. Would be even better if the trigger could be 3/4 of the way down the page but I think you mentioned it had to be timing not scroll location before.
  3. Homepage middle graph area, would like to change the current graph that shows typical Canadian vs MRG, to compare Avg CDN to Ultra Wealthy graph instead. I think the graph needs to be larger as well, should be at least as large as the planning graph (maybe a bit larger so easier to see?) and currently it is smaller, especially on mobile which is smaller on mobile than desktop for some reason.
  4. Homepage footer bugs me the way Insights and About are both bold and Corp HSA is under which doesn’t really relate. What if we just remove Insights and About from footer as really don’t need a section in footer to put links under and maybe create a Resources (or something else) bold item that doesn’t get linked anywhere but then Corp HSA goes under that? I will likely add other resource links in the future.
  5. Homepage personal insurance section with the diagram has the action item “Learn your options” as centered instead of left when on mobile, it is left aligned when on desktop so only issue on mobile.
  6. Investments page, this diagram below with 2 graphs in 1 section needs to be split into 2 different sections instead of being combined as can’t read on mobile (too small). So when you scroll this section, it would be like 4 individual sections instead of the current 3. Can you please change the titles on the graphs so easier to see difference, the first graph should be “Growth Phase - Sequence of Returns Risk ” and the second should be “Withdrawal Phase - Sequence of Return Risk"

Frequently Asked Questions
Why the different hourly costs?

We maintain a consistent capacity level for our team - seldom is there a time where we need to find more work to fill their days.

By scheduling in tasks with an appropriate amount of lead time for completion, we can keep costs down and deliver in a timely manner. It also means we can get out of the office at a reasonable hour.

However, there are often situations that are out of our hands that may require rushing work - this means additional overhead for overtime, costs for bringing in contractors, or other expenses. We account for those by tagging on the additional hourly cost.

How can we make these tasks more cost efficient?

As with anything, consistency and volume are two factors that can help reduce hourly costs. If you find yourself in need of more consistent hours, and quicker turnaround times, let us know and we're happy to come to the table to talk details! You can reach out to us at hello@papercrane.ca
